The M48 female thread features a 48mm diameter and a 0.75mm thread pitch.
Only works with 48mm wide-format T-threaded accessories.
Not compatible with standard 42mm T-threaded adapters, which use an M42x0.75 thread (42mm diameter x 0.75mm pitch).

This T-ring is perfect for use with M48-threaded telescope correctors or flatteners that have a 55mm back focus requirement.
The Micro 4/3 camera's flange focal distance is 19.25mm, and when combined with this adapter's optical path of 35.6mm, the total comes to exactly 55mm - eliminating the need for extra spacers or adapters.
