This precision adapter is designed to achieve the proper working distance when pairing the William Optics WIFD GT81 telescope with the Flat68III field flattener. It replaces the standard M48-threaded adapter with an M54x0.75 male thread, allowing compatibility with M54-threaded cameras and accessories.
To install, simply remove the existing M48-threaded end piece on the flattener and swap it with this extended M54 adapter.
Correct back focus setting specification: For P-FLAT68III used with WIFD GT81 telescope: 1.9mm
