Polar Alignment Made Simple
An illuminated polar scope is integrated to simplify alignment. The reticle includes a circular grid for northern hemisphere users, aligning seamlessly with popular alignment apps. For the southern hemisphere, the Octans constellation is etched into the reticle. Even without Polaris, alignment can be achieved through the SynScan controller by selecting a visible star and fine-tuning with the mount’s latitude adjustment screws.

As with all Sky-Watcher mounts, the EQ6-R Pro comes fully equipped. A retractable counterweight bar improves portability, while two 5kg counterweights are provided for balancing.
