This adapter is designed specifically for use with the William Optics Flat68III and Flat7A flatteners, both of which come standard with a male M48x0.75 thread. By replacing the original M48-threaded end, this adapter changes the output thread to a male M68x1, making it compatible with cameras and accessories that require the larger M68 connection — all without altering the critical back focus distance.
On the input side (flattener/scope side), this adapter features M80x0.75 female threads, which means it is only compatible with the Flat68III and Flat7A. It will not work with other William Optics flatteners or reducers.
Installation is simple — just unscrew the default M48-threaded end from your flattener and replace it with this adapter.
