A dedicated field flattener from William Optics designed specifically for the Z61 Apo telescope. Not compatible with the Star 61 guidescope. On the telescope side, this flattener features a male M54 thread for direct attachment to the focuser drawtube. To access the M54 female thread inside the drawtube, simply remove the 2" eyepiece holder ring. The camera side includes a male M48x0.75 thread, allowing you to connect a Canon, Nikon, or other DSLR using an M48-specific T-ring (sold separately). Note that it cannot be used with smaller 42 mm T-rings. This flattener does not include a standard 2" nosepiece or eyepiece holder-it is intended exclusively for direct camera connection to the William Optics Z61. A key convenience is the integrated rotator/camera angle adjuster, eliminating the need for a separate rotator. This is a true 1:1 flattener with no focal reduction. Zenithstar 61Compatibility:
