It´s easy to explore the stars like a professional with Sky-Land NG refractor telescope. The system comes complete with telescope, mount, tripod as well as all necessary accessories needed for exploring the wonders of our heavens. The 70mm objective diameter allows you to precisely observe objects in outer space. The mounting not only allows for standard up/down and left/right positioning, but also can be easily converted to an equatorial mount. This is of particularly advantage for celestial viewing at night. The viewfinder is mounted on the telescope gives erect image. The 90 degree erecting lens – for upright and non-inverted imagery – furthers one to explore interesting daytime imagery. The tripod is adjustable in height for young and older observers.

Specific features : Mount with Integrated Polar-Wedge
At first glance it looks like Altazimuth refractor telescope has a normal alt-azimuth mount with it´s up/down and left/right positioning just like we know on standard camera tripods. This is advantageous for daytime observations.

However the integrated polar-wedge allows for easy changeover to an equatorial mount. Converting to astronomy use is simply a matter of loosening one thumb-knob and adjusting the mount so that the celestial targets can be examined at high magnifications. With equatorial mounts, one axis is tilted towards the celestial pole, to allow you to track objects efficiently in the night sky by turning one slow motion handle. This simplifies viewing in comparison to the alt-azimuth mount with it´s up/down and left/right positioning.
