The Smartphone Adapter DX Kit is an ideal entry point into astroimaging and digiscoping, giving you everything needed to capture sharp photos and videos right away. The kit includes a smartphone adapter and a Bluetooth shutter release remote, making it easy to photograph the Moon, document wildlife through binoculars or spotting scopes, or record microscope observations. From social media posts to scientific use, this versatile adapter does it all.

The smartphone adapter is compatible with eyepieces measuring 29mm to 45mm in diameter, including telescopes with 1.25″ eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. It is designed to fit a wide range of optics with ease.

Built to accommodate most smartphones, the adjustable phone platform securely holds your device–often even with the phone case still attached. Strong threaded knobs ensure a firm grip, providing excellent stability even with heavier phones.

Setup is quick and straightforward. Simply place your phone into the adapter and secure it using the tightening knob. Align your phone’s camera with the center of the eyepiece, fine-tune the position, and lock it in place for a stable and precise fit.

Note: Some large or bulky phone cases, including folio-style cases, may need to be removed for proper fit.

Once mounted, you can capture photos or videos while still accessing all your phone’s functions. Share images, send messages, or upload content to social media–without removing your phone from the adapter.

To confirm compatibility, measure the outside diameter of your eyepiece. If it falls between 29mm and 45mm, it will work with this adapter. The Smartphone Adapter is not compatible with riflescopes.

Bluetooth Shutter Release Remote

To help you capture the sharpest images possible, the kit includes a Bluetooth shutter release remote compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The remote allows you to trigger the camera without touching your phone, minimizing vibration and image blur. Pairing instructions are included in the quick setup guide.
