Telrad Reflex Sight Finder
The Telrad Finder is one of the most popular and user-friendly reflex finderscopes available for telescopes. Its simple yet highly effective design makes target acquisition much easier compared to traditional optical finders.
Instead of magnifying the view, the Telrad projects a set of illuminated red circles 0.5°, 2°, and 4° directly onto a large clear window. These reference circles make aligning your telescope on celestial objects quick and accurate. The reticle is particularly helpful for star-hopping, allowing you to measure angular distances between stars and deep-sky objects easily. For example, if a galaxy lies 8 degrees away from a reference star, you simply count two 4-degree rings.

Powered by two standard AA batteries (user-supplied), the Telrad provides exceptionally long battery life typically lasting 1-2 years under normal use.
The Telrad comes with a universal mounting base that can be easily attached to virtually any telescope using either the included sticky pads or screw holes for a more permanent installation.
