Blocking filters are essential components for the correct and safe operation of all Lunt solar telescopes.

The Lunt Solar Systems B3400 Blocking Filter is built into a 2" straight-through extension tube that includes both 2" and T2 connections. Like all Lunt blocking filters, the B3400 incorporates additional internal filters, which are crucial for ensuring both safety and optimal performance of the solar observing system. It’s important to note that Lunt blocking filters use a specialized internal filter system, and Lunt guarantees safety and performance only when a Lunt H-alpha filter or telescope is used in combination with one of their blocking filters.

The B3400 model is ideally suited for visual observation with telescopes up to 3400 mm focal length, and for imaging applications with telescopes up to 1800 mm focal length.
