Double stacking offers a significantly enhanced, high-definition view of the Sun’s intricate surface details. It effectively reduces the system’s bandpass from <0.65 Angstromsto <0.45 Angstroms, allowing solar surface structures to stand out vividly and making them truly “pop.”
The Lunt 130 mm and 152 mm telescopes can be internally double-stacked either at the time of purchase or anytime afterward, without needing to be sent back to the factory for the modification.
You can later add the DSII internal double stack module to convert your telescope into a double-stack system, making it a more cost-effective upgrade path for those purchasing Lunt’s premium solar telescopes. Once your Lunt LS130MT is upgraded with the LFPT internal double stack module, you’ll be able to observe finer solar details that were previously invisible.
