Product Details This specialized adapter is designed for use with the William Optics Flat68III and Flat7A flatteners, which typically end in an M48x0.75 male thread. By replacing the original component with this adapter, you can convert the terminal thread to M54x0.75 male—ideal for connecting cameras and accessories that require the larger M54 interface—without altering the critical back focus distance.
On the telescope/flattener end, the adapter features M80x0.75 female threads, meaning it's exclusively compatible with the Flat68III and Flat7A models. It is not suitable for other William Optics flatteners or reducers.
Installation is simple: just remove the factory-installed M48-threaded end ring from your flattener and screw in this extended M54-threaded adapter in its place.
