This Advanced Package from Lunt Solar Systems enhances the full viewing capability of their well-known 80 mm ED refractor solar telescope. Alongside the Lunt LS80MT 80 mm modular telescope, this bundle includes everything needed for observing in H-alpha, nighttime, terrestrial, white light, and Calcium K wavelengths. Building on the Observer Package, the Advanced version upgrades the B1200 blocking filter to a B1800 and includes a B1200 Calcium K module for expanded solar viewing capabilities.
The included H-alpha and B1800 blocking filters offer safe and vivid solar viewing, revealing detailed surface features. The addition of a white light wedge and polarizing filter allows observation in white light, while the Calcium K filter provides imaging at the 393.4 nm wavelength. The True Doppler Tuning system allows for fine-tuned wavelength control. For nighttime or terrestrial use, simply remove the H-alpha module and attach the provided backing plate and focuser, transforming the FPL53 doublet refractor into a multi-purpose telescope.
