LS60MT as a Nighttime Telescope

Compact yet powerful, the LS60MT from Lunt Solar Systems offers easy reconfiguration for various observing modes. True Doppler Tuning

The True Doppler Tuning System introduces depth to your solar observations by enabling wavelength shifts toward or away from the observer. While it has limited impact on solar prominences due to their position at the sun’s edge, it significantly enhances visibility of filaments and active surface regions. For example, users can trace a filament from base to tip, effectively viewing it in three dimensions. This advanced tuning technology boosts both visual and imaging performance, offering value for hobbyists and research enthusiasts alike. With barometric pressure tuning, users gain a level of control that allows precise targeting of solar features.
